Who we are

GDAAA (Global Development Alliance for Asia & Africa) is a non-governmental, non-profit consortium that brings together universities, schools, research laboratories, and companies. We advocate for investment in education, research, and innovation as catalysts for sustainable development across Asia and Africa.

🌍 Our alliance provides leadership and supports innovation in education. We design and implement initiatives that involve the entire community to improve schools, empower youth, and build inclusive partnerships.

Advocacy for investment in education

Africa faces an unprecedented education challenge. Public education systems struggle with financing gaps, yet the emergence of private education is staggering. With a population expected to reach 2.4 billion by 2050 (over half under 25), the urgency is clear.

If nothing is done to reform education systems and boost quality jobs, countries risk social instability. The irony? The future of northern humanity will be played out in Africa – young African generations will shape global demographics and economies. A win-win perspective is essential.

Advocacy for research & innovation

Fundamental and applied research are complementary: basic research produces new knowledge that feeds applied research, generating technologies transferable to industry. Weakening basic research creates a harmful domino effect on innovation, economic growth, and job creation.

🔬 Clinical Trial Research
📈 Predicting Epidemics
